The power of connection
As an M Health Fairview Pediatrics patient family, you’re already part of a community. Take the next step and get involved as an ambassador. Our ambassador program gives patients and families a chance to share their experiences with others and advocate for M Health Fairview Pediatrics by participating in events and volunteering in lots of special ways.
Many parents and families enjoy having the opportunity to give back as ambassadors. It’s a way to share your family’s unique journey. Your story has the power to help other children and families like yours know they’re not alone. Telling other families about your experience can give them strength, courage, and hope as they navigate their own child’s experience. As an ambassador, you’ll also be able to help people in the broader community understand and connect with our children’s health system in new ways – perhaps inspiring them to get involved and become supporters themselves.
We’re strongest when we work together and speak with one voice on behalf of children everywhere. As an ambassador, you can help do all of that – and more.

Goldy's Hero Program
When it comes to bravery in the face of challenges, our patients are true champions. That's why we created the Goldy's Hero program in partnership with University of Minnesota Gopher Athletics - to celebrate the special children who are, or have been, hospitalized at M Health Fairview Masonic Children's Hospital and across our pediatric healthcare system.
Our patients can be recognized as a Goldy's Hero at Gopher football home games during the regular season. We also offer opportunities for children and families across our pediatric health system to be celebrated at Gopher men's basketball and Gopher men's hockey home games during the regular seasons.
At each game, our patients have the opportunity to attend the game with their family, share their story on the big screen, and wave to all the Gopher fans in attendance!
Become a Goldy's Hero
Any current or former M Health Fairview Masonic Children's Hospital patient under age 13 can apply to become a Goldy's Hero through our Ambassador Program.
