Integrated mental health model
The sooner a child gets help for mental health or substance use challenges, the better. That’s why M Health Fairview Pediatrics has mental health providers located in primary care clinics across the region, available for short visits or consultations during a pediatric checkup that increase access to care for children and adolescents, so that we can help you identify and address their mental health needs at the earliest and most manageable stages.

Behavioral health home
For families with Medicaid, M Health Fairview Pediatrics can provide team-based, whole-person care with a mental health provider, a community health worker, and a care coordinator. This model offers comprehensive mental health and substance use support in a primary care setting. 

Strong community connection
With our overflow network, we have access to hundreds of psychotherapy and psychiatry appointments with vetted providers in the area. Our team can schedule your child for an appointment directly. 

 

 

 

Pediatric Mental Health Programs and Resources

Assessment Center and Transition Care Services

M Health Fairview's assessment center and transition care services program provides rapid access to mental health and substance use care from a licensed professional and referrals to other programs as needed.
 

Adolescent Co-Occurring Disorders Program

A unique outpatient program designed to care for adolescents with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders.
 

Adolescent Day Treatment Program

Adolescent Day Treatment Program provides intensive daytime interventions for children ages 11-14 experiencing moderate to severe mental health symptoms. The program is staffed by skilled mental health care staff, who help adolescents develop new communication skills and healthy coping strategies.
 

Adolescent Residential Program

Our residential program works with young people who have co-occurring mental health and substance use challenges to start healing and recovery in a safe environment.

Birth to Three Program

The first three years of life are a sensitive period in a child's growth and development. The Birth to Three Clinic provides mental health services for our youngest patients who are at-risk for experiencing toxic stress.
