We all have patterns of behavior – things we do in response to certain stimuli in our environment. When behaviors become problematic, we can work to address them. This is known as behavioral health. Mental health is broader and deeper – it deals with the underlying issues that affect how we think, how we feel emotionally, how we respond to our environment, as well as our patterns of behavior. We use the term “mental health” to describe our M Health Fairview services and programs in recognition of that distinction.
