M Health Fairview Ridges Hospital, which serves both children and adults, is conveniently located in the heart of the south metro, just off the I-35E and I-35W split in Burnsville, about 15 miles south of the Twin Cities.

- General patient and visitor parking is located in a surface lot by the main entrance and accessible from E. Nicollet Boulevard.
- Emergency patient parking is adjacent to the emergency entrance and accessible from Fairview Drive.
- Surgery patient parking is accessible from Fairview Drive. Proceed under skyway past the south side of the hospital to the surgery entrance.

With our eCard program, you can send hospitalized patients an eCard to brighten their day – and we all know how much children love getting mail! Order your eCard online, and one of our hospital volunteers will print out your message and hand deliver it to the patient.

Hours and entrances
M Health Fairview Ridges Hospital is open 24 hours a day. Use the main entrance, located at 201 E. Nicollet Boulevard, to enter the hospital. If you are arriving after 8:30 p.m., please use the emergency department entrance, located off Fairview Drive.
Online gift shop
Offers same-day bedside delivery of gifts to hospitalized patients. For assistance with the online gift shop, call 877-887-3200 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Pacific Time, Monday through Friday.

Our certified child life specialists focus on the social and emotional needs of children by providing developmentally appropriate preparation for medical procedures, education about health conditions, strategies for pain management, and coping skills. Our Child and Family Life Services team is available at M Health Fairview Ridges Hospital to ensure children and families have the help they need through medical experiences, including tests, procedures, and hospitalization.
