Our family medicine obstetric providers, also known as FMOBs, are primary care providers with special experience and training in pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum care.
They treat the full spectrum of health conditions and concerns for women, children, and all family members no matter their age. From routine screenings and prenatal visits to well-child check-ups and even childbirth, our family medicine obstetricians can help with a wide variety of health issues.
If you choose to work with a family medicine obstetric provider, they can provide prenatal care during pregnancy, help deliver your child, and continue care for your child throughout childhood and into their teenage years. Once your child is 18, we can continue to treat them within our health system, so there’s no need to find a new doctor or transfer medical records when they’ve reached adulthood.
Because family medicine obstetrics providers treat both children and adults, your entire family can get coordinated primary care from the same doctor, at the same clinic. Having the same person provide care for you and your child makes coordinating health care simple for your family.
