Our program is designed for children with an increased risk of cancer for family history reasons and for children who have developed a cancer that may be part of a hereditary cancer syndrome.  Family history concerns include early age of diagnosis of cancers or multiple cancers in the family.  The goal of the clinic is to identify children who may at risk for cancer and work with families to prevent cancer or catch it early so that the outcome is the best possible.

Early Cancer Detection and Prevention

Risk assessment helps patients understand their risk and develop screening and prevention plans to detect any cancers as early as possible.

Pediatric patients and their families typically enter our program in the following ways:

• Referred by pediatric oncology
• Referred by pediatric specialists concerned about  hereditary cancer in the family
